Street Style with Taylor and her Girl Gang!

 If you've been following me for a while, you'll know just how much of a Taylor Swift fan I am.  So I have to admit, I was excited to see Taylor's street style back alongside her girl gang... including Gigi Hadid, the Haim girls and Blake Lively!  I'd pretty much do anything to join this girl gang.. but instead let's break down their street style.
Starting with Taylor, keeping it simple and classic, with a little black set, matching black Chanel loafers and tortoiseshell sunglasses. She's finished the look with a pop of red including a Stella McCartney bag and her signatory red lip.
Gigi Hadid is giving a cue on exactly how to wear double denim this season.  It's all about oversize light denim jeans and a matching oversize denim jacket.
The Haim sisters are also wearing two of this season's biggest trends, the bomber jacket and trench coat paired with knee high boots.
And then there's Blake Lively, looking absolutely flawless after giving birth!  Blake is also wearing another trend this season, the waistcoat.
I can't decide a favourite!

Trend: Denim Midi/Maxi Skirt

 Perhaps this season's biggest trend is the denim midi and maxi skirt.  Whether you opt for a midi at the knee (as seen on Kendall Jenner) or a floor scrapping maxi (as seen on Gigi Hadid), it is an essential item for your wardrobe.  What I love about this trend revival is that you can literally take it from day to night.  For a casual day look, pair it with a tee, loafer and a cute bomber.  For a night look, pair it with a singlet, blazer or trench coat and add a finishing touch with a heel or bootie.  I cannot get enough of this trend and I can't see it going anywhere, anytime soon!

GHD Unplugged Cordless Hair Straightener Review

From the moment I heard about a cordless GHD hair straightener,  I knew I needed one.  A portable straightener I can take with me and use anywhere, at anytime.. SOLD!  

GHD's Unplugged straightener comes in two colours, black and white.  It's compact and light (at about 20cm in length), making it extremely convenient to carry with you. And don't let it's size deceive you, it's just as powerful as your standard GHD at approximately 180 degrees.  It has high gloss ceramic plates, ensuring your hair is always shining.  It comes with a heat resistant carry case and a USB cord.  It takes about 2 hours to completely charge and has a battery life of about 20 minutes.  It has a battery indicator to let you know when it's low and even beeps for you at 15%. It will also switch off automatically when not in use.  Even better it's flight friendly, so it's your number one travel companion!

I've been using this for about the past month and I honestly have nothing but praise for it.  It leaves my hair super straight and oh so shiny!  I will be taking it everywhere with me.  It's that one product we always knew we needed, and GHD delivered!

 Introducing Jimmy Choo's Beauty Collection!  

If you're a follower on my Instagram you'll know I love my Jimmy Choo heels..therefore when I heard about their new beauty collection, I couldn't contain my excitement!  Jimmy Choo Beauty includes ten satin finish lipsticks, high gloss nail polishes and six fragrances.  The lipsticks are full coverage in a gold case and feature the JC monogram.  The nail polishes are my personal favourite and a must have addition to my beauty collection. Displayed in glassed bottle and an elongated brush embossed with Jimmy Choo.  The collection is inspired by the confident and daring spirit at the heart of Jimmy Choo.

Milan Fashion Week: Versace Fall 2021

Thanks to Donatella, we finally welcome Gigi Hadid back to runway!  This was her first show since giving birth to daughter Khai.  And yes, she's now a red head!  Gigi was joined alongside her sister Bella, making it the perfect touch to Versace's Fall 2021 collection.  The collection featured a new monogram, La Greca, an updated take on Versace's signatory monogram.  Chunky platform shoes were paired with opaque tights and mini dresses.  Midi skirts paired with cropped tops.  Vinyl trench coats, flares, monogrammed coats, head scarfs and even turtle necks.  The majority of the pieces were dark and neutral toned, but complimented with surprising dashes of bright bold colour.  A very wearable and appropriate post lockdown collection. It's perhaps one of my favourite collections this season!

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2019: Ten Pieces

During Australian Fashion Week, I attend Fashion Shows at some of the most unique and amazing locations in Sydney.  Throughout the years, I've attended shows at the Opera House, Sydney University, the Woollahra Post Office, Australia Square, The Australian Technology Park and the Overseas Passenger Terminal.  I've seen dogs, snakes and even surfboards come down the runway.  Except, there's one show I've always wanted to attend and this year, I was invited!  Over the past five years, Ten Pieces have showcased their collection at one of Sydney's most exquisite locations, Bondi Icebergs.  This year, Ten Pieces transformed the Bondi Icebergs' pool into a runway and showcased their Resort 20 collection.  Arriving to Bondi Beach on a sunny Autumn morning, you couldn't ask for anything for magical!  Guest were treated to drinks and monogramed pieces by The Daily Edited. 
Model's strutted the empty icebergs pool in one of the most epic shows I've ever seen.  The Resort 20 collection 'Cosmic Runner' draws inspiration from the late 70's Italian disco culture.  A mixture of contemporary outfitting with an urban sport look, embracing a monochrome colour palette with touches of red, white and blue.  This season also introduced denim.

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2019: We are Kindred

I recently attended the We are Kindred show during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia 2019.  The Resort 2020 collection 'Boheme Heart', embraced "a little bit bohemian and a little bit party".  A carefree, bohemian, effortless, and feminine collection, including the perfect pieces for your spring/summer wardrobe. The collection includes flowy long dresses, flare pants, mini shorts and jumpsuits/playsuits, off the shoulder silhouettes, plunging necklines and frills.  A breathtaking colour palette of pastel blue, yellow, white and pink... with a mixture of prints, metallic and texture.  
The show itself opened with Victoria's Secret model Alannah Walton.. yes that was a highlight of my week!
