Tigerlily Summer 2011/12 Campaign

I've been a Tigerlily fan for as long as I can remember and I believe summer wouldn't be summer without a little Tigerlily!  Creative Director Jodhi Meares, photographer Jez Smith and model Elyse Taylor joined forces to shoot Tigerlily's Summer 2011/12 campaign on the beaches in Bali. The collection titled 'Leads You Elsewhere' remains true to Tigerlily's signatory beach culture. It consists of 70's inspired pieces, a warm colour palette, as well as a mixture of patterns and textures....the perfect collection for every Tigerlily girl!

Sneak Peek: Lovers and Collaborators A/W 2012

I was recently asked to shoot behind the scenes for the Lovers and Collaborators Autumn/Winter 2012 look book.  Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, I wasn't able to attend, however I was sent this clip which features behind the scenes footage of the shoot and gives you a little sneak peek at the new collection!  I will be heading to Door 121's press showing in the coming weeks, where I will be of course snapping images of the new collection....can't wait!

Michael Lo Sordo S/S 2011/12 Look Book

I was recently contacted by designer Michael Lo Sordo, who sent me his amazing new Spring/Summer 2011/12 look book. The collection, as seen during Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, is feminine and simplistic, inspired by the silhouettes of the seventies. The collection includes pleated, silk and sheer pieces, maxi skirts and dresses, mini structured dresses and skirts, cropped bodices and tailored jackets. Michael's use of colour is simple, yet striking...white and black contrasted with blue and pink pastels. However, the most intriguing element of the collection is the unique 'smoke like' print.
Michael Lo Sordo's S/S2011/12 collection "is taking 'timeless' into the future, making the Michael Lo Sordo girl as the new unforgettable essence of style."

Dion Lee 'Line II' Lookbook

I recently received a surprise package from Dion Lee..The Line II Lookbook.  This was no ordinary lookbook, but a true masterpiece!  Dion Lee joined forces with photographer Bec Parsons to create the unique lookbook featuring Dion's new Line II collection.  Line II is a standalone collection and is quite simplistic in comparison to Dion's mainline collection.  The collection emphasizes minimalism with classic cuts and a neutral colour palette for the perfect wardrobe essentials.  However, Dion's signatory architectural design aesthetic is still quite prominent throughout the collection.  The Spring 2011 collection consists of "15 styles, across shirts and dresses.  Fabrications are limited to silks; georgette, double georgette and faille, and cottons; poplin, voile and silk cotton."   The first collection has just hit stores.

Blake Lively's Chanel Campaign

I've waited in anticipation to see what would happen when you mix a little Chanel and Gossip Girl.. I'm talking about Blake Lively's new Mademoiselle handbag campaign for Chanel.  I think it's gorgeous!!  Mr Lagerfeld himself shot the campaign and I wouldn't have expected anything less than perfection.  The campaign is a little dark, but so elegant, classic and glamorous, I can't wait to see more!
