March Beauty Favourites

I'm really excited to share with you my favourite beauty products this month.  My favourites each month will consist of new product arrivals, items I'm loving, and a few of my old favourites.

 

TARTE Rainforest of the Sea 'Skin Twinkle Lightening Palette': This is new levels of amaze!  I literally wanted to post the entire 'Rainforest of the Sea' collection.  I have however, decided to share the highlighting palette with you.  This palette has a champagne gold shade for highlighting, and a rose pearl shade for adding glow. Just perfect!

MAC x Charlotte Olympia collection: A few weeks ago I posted about the MAC x Charlotte Olympia Collection.  It's finally available!  I've included the eye shader brush and make up bag in my favourites.  Of course, I want the complete collection!

TOO FACED 'Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara':  If you already love Too Faced's 'Better Than Sex' Mascara, then you're going to be completely obsessed with the new waterproof version.  People have literally been chopping onions and crying their eyes out just to test the Mascara... And guess what?  The mascara remained in perfect condition!

CLINIQUE 'Moisture Surge Skin Fortifying Hydrator': I can't believe I've waited this long to try this product.  It's super hydrating, light weight and keeps my skin silky and smooth.  What's great, is that, it can be used with the majority of skin types and doesn't leave your skin looking oily.

SMASHBOX 'Photo Finish Primer Water': This is a new product for Smashbox.  It is a spray-on primer water.  The spray provides primer benefits, hydration from the water, and leaves your skin sheer radiant.  It can be used as a primer, to lock in your make up, and to refresh your look throughout the day.   

BY TERRY 'Ombre Black Star': At the moment I am obsessed with shimmer cream eye shadow sticks.  The By Terry Ombre Black Star stick is amazing!  It goes on smooth, blends well, doesn't smudge and looks incredible.

Lauren Conrad's 'Celebrate' Book Launch

If you loved Lauren Conrad's 'Style' and 'Beauty' books, then you're going to be completely obsessed with her latest book, 'Celebrate'.  'Celebrate' is about creating the perfect gathering.  A must-have guide for entertaining and party planning. 

For her launch, Lauren wore a pink dress and a strappy nude heel from her LC Lauren Conrad collection, available at Kohls. Her make up consisted of a deep berry lip and Lauren's signatory cat-eye.  The pretty in pink event, even included, a mini Laguna Beach reunion!  Yes, Dieter and Trey, from 'Laguna Beach', were there to support Lauren.

The Black Leggings Edit

The black legging is a core basic for every wardrobe.  It's now, however, become one of the biggest trends.  It's a piece that can take you from day to night.  Take a cue from Gigi Hadid, who wore a pair of leggings with boots and a leather jacket.  Then, for a more casual look, she wore the same leggings with a singlet and Adidas Superstars.  Kendall Jenner opted to wear leather leggings for her model off duty look.  She wore leggings with a fur coat and a bomber jacket.  Selena Gomez and Karlie Kloss have embraced a more sleek look.  Selena wore leggings with a long shirt, crop jumper and a pump, while Karlie opted for a similar look, but with leather leggings and a trench coat.  Then there's Olivia Palermo and Poppy Delevingne's street style looks.  Poppy wore leather, denim and fur, while Olivia wore a turtleneck, coat and MaxMara sneakers.  I personally love leggings, and believe you can never have too many!  I've picked a few of my favourites that you can shop by clicking the items below.

PFW: Olivia Palermo's Front Row Style Fall 2016

From New York to London, and now finishing in Paris... Olivia Palermo's Paris Fashion Week style, was worth the wait.  I can't pick a favourite, from her matching Pringles of Scotland maxi skirt and jumper, to her Elie Saab fur jacket, the amazing Jimmy Choo boots with the black Chloe dress, and the Nina Ricci leather blue skirt.  Just flawless!
