I don't know about you, but I've never been more excited for the new year! Before we say goodbye to 2015, let's take a look back at the most memorable events.
Celebrity break ups dominated the media, from Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, to Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting, Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green, Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, and Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson/Joe Jonas. That was just the start. There was clearly something in the water! We did, however, welcome a new royal, little Princess Charlotte.
This year was the year of Gigi Hadid. Gigi dominated the runways, magazines, social media, Joe Jonas' heart and was named a part of Vogue's Fashion Brat Pack alongside Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber was back in 2015 and ready to show what he was made of! He kicked off his year with an infamous Calvin Klein underwear campaign and invited every one of his celebrity buds to help him drop his new single What Do You Mean? The countdown sent social media into a frenzy and his new album Purpose didn't disappoint. Selena Gomez also returned looking amazing as ever. She dropped her new album Revival and even performed at this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Then there's One Direction... Those boys certainly sent fans a little crazy! Zayn decided to leave the group and ended things with Perrie, Louis broke up with Elenor, and then announced he was expecting a child. Liam also broke up with Sophia. They then announced they were going on a break at the end of year, and dropped their fifth album Made in the AM. Well, at least Harry, didn't cut his hair!
What about Taylor Swift? She kicked off the year with her 1989 World Tour (yes, now the fifth time I've seen her), and redefined the meaning of #squadgoals. Taylor Swift invited celebrities to join her on stage during her World Tour and also premiered her new single Bad Blood at the Billboard Music Awards featuring her whole squad.
This year saw one of the biggest collaborations, H&M and Balmain. It sold out, how quickly? Drake's Hotline Bling, sent memes into overload, whilst Bruce Jenner completed his transition into Caitlyn Jenner. Beyoncé covered this year's September Vogue issue, whilst Kayne announced he wants to run for President. The 50 Shades of Grey movie was finally released, whilst Game of Thrones killed off Jon Snow.. or did they? And we finally learned who on earth 'A' was on Pretty Little Liars, I mean finally!
