The Chanel and DVF Resort 2011 collections weren't the only collections that left a lasting impression! Oscar de la Renta graced us all with his feminine, sophisticated and classic collection. Love his use of delicate prints, flowy dresses, elegant silhouettes, the pretty bows, stunning gowns, and well who could resist those hats!
Another collection that intrigued me was the Moschino Cheap and Chic collection. It channels the Upper East Side, with the whole Gossip Girl vibe. Cute little dresses, adorable skirts, loads of jewellery and bows.
All eyes were on the highly anticipated Alexander McQueen collection. Sarah Burton has effectively carried on McQueen's legacy. In this collection Burton was inspired by her favourite McQueen moments. She interpreted McQueen's signature 'drama' pieces and created a wearable and straight foward collection, of course not neglecting McQueen's edge and design codes. I adore the new season Resort 2011 collections however, it would be too much to post them all! So I've decided to pick a few of my favourite pieces.
