It's hard to believe, another Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia is over. This year, was my seventh time attending Australia Fashion Week! The week kicked off with one of my favourite designers, Dion Lee, who opted again to show his Resort 2018 collection at the Opera House. The collection showcased several emerging trends for the season including suiting, netting and the colour red. Day one included collections by Alice McCall, Bianca Spender and Karla Spetic. Sass and Bide returned to the runway after 14 years with their 'see now, buy now' collection, which you can purchase HERE. Day two included collections by Bec and Bridge, Hansen and Gretel, MacGraw, Zambesi, Michael Lo Sordo and Christopher Esber. Whilst day three and four saw collections by Kitx, Vale Denim, Ginger and Smart, We are Kindred and a special collaboration with Ellery and Etihad. The week ended on a high note with yet another amazing Romance was Born collection. The Resort 2018 collections, showcased prominent trends for the seasons. I've rounded up the top 10 trends.
